Definition

Plotting a point means marking its exact location on the coordinate plane using an ordered pair (x,y)(x, y).
The ordered pair tells you exactly where to go:
  • **First number (xx): How far to move horizontally** (left or right)
  • **Second number (yy): How far to move vertically** (up or down)
